We must remind all supporters that it is a criminal offence to let off a flare or smoke bomb inside a stadium – indeed it is a criminal offence to attempt to enter a stadium with the same.

Such actions are also likely to bring sanctions on the club – and a lengthy ban for those supporters involved.

It looks like we will have 1,500+ supporters at Scunthorpe United on Saturday, so we can have a fantastic day without flares or smoke bombs involved.

Scunthorpe will be much more vigilant around this, so please do not attempt to take them into the ground – just be loud and proud as you were on Tuesday night!
